Happy Valley Sanctuary

This was a lightly renovated tract home reimagined as a soft contemporary vacation retreat for my client, someone who wanted ease, comfort, and a sense of arrival the moment they walk in.

The goal was never to overbuild the home, but to elevate what was already there. To take a standard structure and make it feel intentional, layered, and personal without unnecessary construction.

We focused on high impact, thoughtful updates: a refreshed fireplace, reworked stairs, updated paint throughout, and a full swap of plumbing fixtures, door hardware, and cabinet pulls. Then we completed the transformation with a full furnishing and decor installation that brought everything together.

The inspiration came from simplicity and escape. Light, warm neutrals, soft contrast, and clean contemporary lines that keep the space feeling calm but still visually interesting.

The result is a vacation home that feels completely reset. Effortless, welcoming, and quietly elevated, a place that finally feels like theirs without trying too hard to be anything else.
