Step One - Onboarding
Goal: Clarify the vision and the why.
Before a single design decision is made, I need to fully understand your project, your goals, and the space itself. That means a thorough site visit, detailed measurements, and an honest conversation about what is working and what isn't. I look at the existing conditions with fresh eyes, ask the questions that tend to get skipped, and make sure the vision we build together is actually achievable.
This step is what everything else is built on.
Step Two - Schematic Design
Goal: Establish the soul of the space.
This is where the vision starts taking shape. I present initial floor plans, layout options, and early material concepts built around how the space needs to feel, not what happens to be trending. We look at feasibility early, pulling ballpark bids and opening conversations with contractors and vendors to make sure what we are designing is not just beautiful but actually buildable within your budget and timeline.
Nothing gets refined until the foundation is right.
Step Three - Design Development
Goal: Finalize every detail.
Schematic design established the direction. This phase makes it real. We move from concept into full material boards, detailed finish selections, and three dimensional views that show exactly how the space will look and feel before anything is ordered or built.
This is also where we get precise on budget. Final pricing is gathered, selections are confirmed, and everything is signed off before we move into documentation. By the end of this phase there are no open questions and nothing left to figure out later.
Step Four - Documentation
Goal: Translate the vision into a precise and executable blueprint.
Every decision gets locked in and made buildable. I develop construction documents, detailed specifications, and finish schedules that leave nothing open to interpretation. Your builder receives a complete roadmap and I make sure they understand it fully before anyone picks up a tool. I then meet with the GC, construction documents hand off a 'bulletproof' set of documents to the GC.

Step Five - Project Fulfillment
Goal: Protect the design through every stage of the build.
This phase begins with a formal handoff meeting with your general contractor, walking through the construction documents in detail and making sure there is no room for interpretation before work begins.
From there I become your advocate on the ground, on site regularly to verify the design is being executed exactly as specified and to make real time decisions so the project never stalls. You stay informed without being pulled into the weeds. I stay close so nothing slips.
Final Step - Project Completion
Goal: The return home. After the dust settles, we bring the soul back in through thoughtful design development. I curate the final layers, art, accessories, and light, ensuring your home design reflects your essence. When you walk in, the space won't just look like a magazine; it will feel like you. It's your retreat, expertly crafted and ready for you to come home to. A place that restores you quietly and sends you back out ready for whatever comes next.
